The Goals of The Fund

Our objectives are to unlock the potential of learners through support programmes and to impact positively within the community by generating funds and award bursaries and to provide bursaries for needy and deserving learners and tertiary education students from Steve Tshwete Local Municipality who are following Maths, Science, Accounting, Technology, Law and other fields of study in keeping with the principle of supply and demand. We further aim to raise funds needed to help needy and deserving students to pursue their chosen fields of study and expose them to life skills

Governance

Our Board of Trustees which is made up of members from both the private and public sector, give their time and expertise to the Bursary Fund without remuneration. They consider this as part of their contribution to the community in which they reside. he Bursary Fund’s financial books and statements are audited annually and all donors and funders are sent copies of the audit results soon after they have been issued. The Bursary Fund is registered as a Section 21 Company, registration number 2006/010086/08 and also as a Public Benefit Organisation, registration number 930025333.
